If you do not know me (I mean, really know me) then there is something you need to understand before you read this blog: I value the truth above everything else... except a good laugh. A good laugh will almost always beat the truth as far as I’m concerned. Everything you read on this blog will be true, somewhat true, or something I made up in an effort to get a laugh. Sometimes I will go on a rant that I don’t really mean (or only kind of mean). Sometimes I will mean what I write only to completely change my mind a year, month, or day later. Such is life. By reading this blog you agree not to get offended by anything I write (or, at the very least, you agree not to tell me or anyone else that you are offended). It is worth noting that my employer does not endorse my blog (or even read it, to tell you the truth). The Wife also does not endorse my blog (though she will read it from time to time). I am not paid to write this... it’s just my way of giving back to the community. I have, and will, touch on a wide range of subjects and will give my opinion on these subjects. Again, most of what I say is for laughs but every now and then I will say what I really think and feel (see my views on Westboro Baptist Cult). Our Halftime Show…

Know Your Medal of Honor Recipients:

Corporal James E. Cross (US Army) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on July 18, 1861 at Blackburns Ford, Virginia. His citation reads:

With a companion, refused to retreat when the part of the regiment to which he was attached was driven back in disorder, but remained upon the skirmish line for some time thereafter, firing upon the enemy.

Watertender William Adolphus Crouse (US Navy) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on May 21, 1898 on board the USS Concord. His citation reads:

On board the U.S.S. Concord off Cavite, Manila Bay, P.I., 21 May 1898. Following the blowing out of a lower manhole plate joint on boiler B of that vessel, Crouse hauled the fires in the hot, vapor-filled atmosphere which necessitated the playing of water into the fireroom from a hose.

Private Michael Crowley (US Army) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on March 2, 1865 at Waynesboro, Virginia. His citation reads:

Capture of flag.



As you will see below, the House of Greg had its own little halftime show during the Super Bowl this past Sunday.

Look who lost another tooth...

Mommy wants Daniel to start using a straw... He thinks that's funny.

Susie at the park... She's electric

This is Susie's back... That mark is where Daniel bit her.  Backstory: A little over a week ago, Susie bit Daniel on his finger.  Daniel didn't do anything right away... it seems he was waiting to get her back.  He's already learned that revenge is a dish best served cold.  This kid might make it afterall.
